Polyester Mica Tapes comprises of high grade re constituted mica paper and electrical grade polyester film bonded with insulating resin cured to a B stage. Besides a high breakdown voltage, these tapes remain flexible after thermal treatment and permit the coils to be formed and shaped without risking damage to the conductor insulation even after pre consolidation of the straight portion and pressing of main insulation.
